Is AlohaFunWear legit? I had never shopped there before. First, I looked to see their contact details. Their mailing address is actually in Hawaii, so that was encouraging. They also had a customer service number, so that also seemed genuine - never shop somewhere that doesn't give a customer service number. I also did a few other checks, and according to all my research it looked like the real deal. But you never really know for sure until you shop there. So I took the plunge and ordered the Hawaiian shirt I wanted.
At checkout I paid via PayPal - I was really pleased to see they offer PayPal payments. If a vendor offers that, it's a good sign, even if you plan on paying with a different method. I'm not located near a shipping port, so I was fully prepared to settle in for a long wait. To my happy surprise, it arrived really fast! The timing was on par with something shipped from another state in the contiguous U.S.
The shirt arrived nicely packaged and I could tell it hadn't been sitting out on a rack in the store gathering dust, it was safely protected in plastic (see image below).
Upon opening the package, I could see that the shirt was good quality. There were no problems laundering it, everything still looked good after.
